In order for the calculations to be carried out correctly when you want to pay hours or days for people whose salary type does not correspond to the unit paid, it is important that the settings are correct in the employee management.
Case of a monthly salary:
The number of Average Hours must correspond to the base salary as well as the Average Days.
The calculations made will be:
1 hour of work: Base salary / Average hours
1 day of work: Base salary / Average days
Case of a hourly wage:
The number of Average Hours is ALWAYS 1
The Average Days are to be determined. In this example we have indicated 0.125 which would correspond to a day of 8 hours.
Case of daily wage :
The number of average days is ALWAYS 1
The number of Average Hours is the number of hours in a working day.
In summary and in all cases:
Average hours : how many hours the employee has to work to earn the salary indicated in Base Salary.
Average days : how many days the employee has to work to earn the salary indicated in Base Salary.
