This concept is used when you have to pay something to someone who has already left.
Example : employee Durand having left on April 30. In November, you have to pay her a bonus of 5'000.
To start with, reactivate the employee in the employee management . (See here).
In the calculation, click on the button Compute on the employee. A message appears:
Click on yes.
Set the salary to 0 and enter the bonus:
Click on compute.
The payroll tax calculations will be based on the amounts paid today AND what was paid from January to April.
In the example of the retiree above, the program does not take any OASI deductibles because they were taken in the months she was present.
