Several checks should be performed in case of environment problems when running WinEUR and WinEUR Payroll. (slowness, table access errors, messages about non-existent tables even though they physically exist, ...)
On the server(s) and all client PCs :
- Check antivirus exclusions for data and system directories for each WinEUR and WinEUR Payroll program.
- Check the exclusions of the file indexes for data and system directories for each WinEUR and WinEUR Payroll program.
- Check the SMB cache as well as the SMB session timeout.

The AddKeys.exe program (download) allows you to check the registry keys settings and to update them automatically if necessary.
Warning : The modification must be done on all the clients and servers.
Don't forget to reboot all the computers
On all client PCs :
Set BDE to disable caching (or offline availability) of shared files for data and system directories
for each WinEUR and WinEUR Payroll.
There are two ways to set these parameters :
- Setting up the BDE from WinEUR Payroll
- Setting up the BDE from WinEUR
If the problem persists :
- Check the network :
- If there is obsolete hardware (cables, switch, network card) (not Gigabit Ethernet (GbE), 1000BASE-T certified)
- Do not use wireless connections (WIFI) ! - Check the machine :
- CPU resources
- RAM memory resources
- Disk resources (R/W)
- Hardware compatibility (NAS not compatible!)
- Operating system update
In last resort :
- Check whether the problem can be reproduced locally, directly on the machine (WinEUR et WinEUR Payroll).
