The Geneva maternity insurance is reduced  to 0.032%.

 

The CAF Geneva contribution is reduced  to 2.25%.


The amounts concerning the coordination deduction as well as the minimum and maximum amounts of the LPP for the minimum plans change in 2025. Below are the amounts reduced to 1/12th to be entered in the salary items for the companies concerned.



The minimum hourly wage in Geneva is increased to Fr. 24.48.


The retirement age for women will change according to the following schedule:


2025: 64 years and 3 months

2026: 64 years and 6 months

2027: 64 years and 9 months

2028: 65 years


These notions are “hard-wired” into the program. It will be used to calculate OASI, unemployment and other contributions.

What you need to understand is that the decisive factor is the birthday of the person concerned, and not necessarily the year in which he or she will retire.

For example, a person born in 1961 whose birthday falls in November will retire at 64 years and three months in 2025. 

Since the 3-month rule applies, he or she will retire on March 1, 2026. (It's not the 2026 legislation that applies).


Withholding tax receipts are back in operation in Geneva :



They will no longer appear in figure 15 of the salary certificate.
